Safety Officer

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Serve as the site Professional Safety Officer, Sustainability and Security: Conduct HSE and chemical risk assessment and enforce preventative measures; conduct HSE trainings
• Advise and instruct on safety topics: Chemical handling, Ergonomics, Use of machinery, including conducting Root Caused Analysis for incident investigation and follow up to close out the action plan
• Update, evaluate gaps and follow up action plan to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company regulations including monitoring site lisence/permits
• Organize IH strategy planning/monitoring and give advisories to related department for improvement workplace area to meet the standards and risks control
• Momitor integrated management system including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP in collaboration with other departments
• Implement, promote, and maintain site sustainability, community outreach activities program
• Ensure smooth coordinating of admin activities for site service such as Security, 3rd party manpower management, canteen, gardening, general supplies and other admin tasks by working closely with other department and suppliers
• Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
   

WHO YOU ARE
 

• BS Degree or higher in Public Health (Occupational Health & Safety), Science (Occupational Health & Safety) or related fields and shall certified for professional safety officer as required by local law.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required, preferably with production and/or chemical processing and good understanding of data analysis and risk assessment.
• Is highly committed, determined and results-driven and persists in the face of challenges and setbacks.
